The APC on 30 July 2026 told political appointees serving in the Tinubu administration to actively mobilise votes for the party ahead of 2027 or vacate their positions, with National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda arguing that appointees could not claim to be neutral technocrats while holding political office under the party's government.
